When the whole family is in town for the holidays, it’s a great time to update the family portraits! Patti was thrilled to have her daughter, son, and his family in town for Christmas, so we scheduled a session for just before Christmas and hoped the weather would accommodate. On the original date, we struck out with the weather, but on the back up date, it worked out perfect! Just days before that crazy deep freeze took hold of the Northeast Ohio area for weeks. Thank goodness.
While it was icy at Clague Park in Westlake, the temps were in the high 20’s (sounds almost tropical after a week with highs near 5). Typically, extended family sessions are Signature sessions, giving us about an hour to shoot full family, and various group breakdowns. But being winter, and being cold, and having 2 kids in tow, we all worked together and got it done in 30 minutes.
I enjoyed working with this great group, and am thankful that they chose BLP for fresh family photos.
